Sony announces six new HD-Ready BRAVIA LCD TVs in Japan.

The Sony Bravia V2000 series includes the KDL-3C2v2000 (32"), KDL-40CV2000 (40") and KDL-4C6v2000 (46"), while the S2000 series includes KDL-3C2s2000 (32"), KDL-40CS2000 (40") and KDL-4C6s2000 (46") models.

Colors are supposed to be more vivid on the new Sony LCD TVs. The BRAVIA V2000 and S2000 LCD TVs feature a 1,300:1 contrast ratio, 500cd/m2 brightness and 8ms response time.
The new Sony Bravia LCD HDTVs go on sale on May 1st.
