NEC introduces the NP2000J and NP1000J projectors in Japan.

The NEC NP2000J features a brightness of 4,000 ansi lumen. The NP1000J features 3,500 ansi lumen. Both NEC projectors support 1,600x1200 pixel resolution and a contrast ratio of 800:1. The NEC NP2000J sells for 732,900 yen (~$6,220) and the NP1000J for 627,900 yen (~$5,330).
