Australian Scarpar Pty Ltd. works on a very cool new power board that works on any terrain including snow.

It uses two rubber drives similar to those used in snow mobiles. Because it has no wheels the Scarpar can go nearly everywhere. Gizmodo has a must see video of the Scarpar.

The Scarpar is still only in prototype phase. The company estimates to have a release model available in 2007.

The Scarpar reminds me on the Bushpig another Australian transport invention. The Bushpig is already on the market, but has wheels. Those wheels go 20mph though. More details about Scarpar can be found here.
