Casio introduces the 10.1MP Casio Exilim EX-Z1000.

Casio is able to offer with the EX-Z1000 a very compact 10MP digital camera. It measures 92.0mm×58.4mm×22.4mm and weighs 139g.
The zoom on the EX-Z1000 delivers between 4.3x and 17.1x images with no reduction in quality.

The new Casio Exilim features a 2.8 inch screen with 1,200cd/m2 brightness. There is no pricing information yet. Casio will start shipping the Exilim EX-Z1000 in late May.
