The Locura Personal Media Server is a stand-alone web server that runs on your computer giving you access to all your media. It is optimized for access with your Sony PSP.
Since Locura is a web server with special PSP specific extensions, it can work with any web browser including the Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox browsers.
The Locura software lets you access your videos, creating RSS feeds to listen to your music, displaying your dynamically-resized photos, or customizing your own portal.
The Locura Personal Media comes in three flavors:
For those on a budget, the free version will give you access to all the functionality of the Media server except for video downloading and audio streaming.
For most users, the single-user version will give you full access for one concurrent user and will retail for $30.
For those that need more connections, the family version will also give you full access but it will allow a total of 5 connections. It will retail for $50. A special introductory discount of $10 will be taken off both the single-user and family version through May 5th, 2006.
