The WSJ (Subscription) breaks a story about Google and Nokia planning a wi-fi device with Google Talk service.
Apparently it is to sell for about $390 and is actually based on the already released Nokia 770.
I am not sure if this partnership will boost the 770 sales. A cool and more portable wi-fi handset with Google software on it would be more attractive.
Full details about the Google Nokia handheld are supposed to come next week.
