Summer Gadgets for Your Pet

PetGadgets.com issued a press release on Wednesday to warn pet owners about the dangers of the upcoming hot summer season, and also used the opportunity to promote their summer line of pet gadgets. PetGadgets.com sells everything from remote-controlled cat toys to the Leaning Tower of Pisa-inspired Petbrella. But the products they are offering to promote summer saftety seem about the most bizarre of all.
First up is the Dip 'n Sip, a combination water bowl and tide pool (and doesn't the dog in that picture just look so thrilled?). Then there's the ThermalWear Canine Cooling System, and as Jay Leno would say, "There's no way your dog's going to wear that."
Finally, and much more practically, is the Pool Alarm, which will sound off when your pet (or child, for that matter) accidentally falls into the pool. You can view all the crazy pet gadgets at petgadgets.com.
