LG announces in Korea the FM35 portable DMB TV and media player.

The LG FM35 measures only 92x52x14mm. The screen size is 2.4 inches. You can watch DMB TV for four hours and listen to music for a cool 55 hours on a single battery charge.

Supported media file formats include MP3, WMA, OGG, AVI and ASF.

DMB TV for mobile phones is launching in Germany this week. Forget about bringing a DMB TV like the FM35 from your next South Korea trip, as you will not be able to use it in Germany. Technically it would work, but the TV broadcast has a digital signature that you only get with the subscriptions through the mobile phone provider. Unless maybe somebody is able to hack it. The LG FM35 comes in 512MB, 1GB and 2GB configurations with 199,000 ($~210), 229,000 ($~241) and 279,000 ($~294) KWon prices.
