CNN.com recently posted an article about the recent evolution of jukeboxes being transformed to fit the digital age. Unless you're living in one of the biggest cities in the country, chances are when you think of the word "jukebox" you still picture a retro-style huge metal-and-plastic machine that houses a handful of CDs. But before too long, that image will be a distant memory before too long.

Digital, Internet-powered jukeboxes are becoming the biggest revolution in some neighborhood taverns since the dawn of video poker. Because of either Internet connectivity or massive hard drives, modern jukeboxes can access hundreds, or in some cases hundreds of thousands, of songs. The CNN article touches on many other topics, such as licensing agreements with record labels for this kind of medium, and the cultural paradigm shift that will be caused by such a massive overhaul of a classic American pop culture icon.
