HD DVD Player Supply To Be Replenished (Finally!)

Ever since the first HD DVD player launched a couple months ago, the darn things have been tough to track down. Now, after weeks of being sold out at virtually every retailer nationwide, Toshiba says they have a better shipping plan which will enable them to provide a constant flow of their HD DVD hardware to a larger "pool of retailers."
Some stores have reported getting fresh supplies of the players as early as Wednesday (May 31), so if you've been trying to get an HD DVD player but gave up because you couldn't find any, you may want to check out Best Buy and online stores now.
This news comes right about the time that Sony announced that their flagship Blu-Ray player will be delayed by more than a month. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. But one thing's for sure -- this will give potential Blu-Ray customers a lot more encouragement to go with HD DVD instead.
