Want to be able to really impress your guests? Then check out the Trak-Kit, a system that lets you move your flat-screen TV from side to side, up and down, and all around. In addition, you can install it to be able to hide the TV in your wall when you're not using it.
It supports all flat-screens up to 500 pounds (but make sure you know that your roof won't collapse with that kind of weight). And if you have the right set up, you can have a "trak" as long as 500 feet without any loss of picture quality. There's also a "robotic Trak-Kit" in the works, due out in 2007.
This is one of the coolest TV-related inventions I've seen in a long time. I love the idea of being able to move your TV around so easily. It leaves me wondering why someone didn't think of this before.
For more info check out the animated demo on Trak-Kit's website.
