Sony at Work on 'Origami Gadgets'

A recent patent (link) filed by Sony appears to be for some kind of flexible polymer-based electronics. In other words, Sony is working on a material to use to build computers, cell phones, video game devices, etc, that would actually allow you to bend and fold them for increased portability.
These devices would be able to easily shift between a flexible, foldable material and a hard material, so you wouldn't be typing on a rubbery laptop computer.
This kind of takes the whole e-paper idea a step further, in creating a totally flexible all-encompassing electronic medium. It will be interesting to see if this patent actually ends up going anywhere besides Sony's labs.
