PC World reports that Samsung confirmed that the release date for their Blu-ray player in the United States is still June 25th.
Yesterday we reported about Samsung confirming a delay of their Blu-ray player into autumn. The news was from the UK though. So apparently Samsung is still on track to be offering the first Blu-ray player on the US market. It is supposed to drop in 11 days. Amazon.com still does not specify a shipping date though.
Sony confirmed again that the first seven Blu-ray discs ship June 20th. Why Samsung is not synching the release of the BD-P1000 with the movie releases is strange.
