The Toys "R" Us stores in Australia seem to be going all out to get the early adopters for the PS3 and Wii to pre-order from them. First of all it's amazing that they're actually letting you pre-order (at least over here in the states, it's tough to find a store that will actually take your money for a pre-order deposit). But more than that, Australian Toys "R" Us stores are offering a major incentive for a $50 down payment -- a free game.
With PS3 games expected to reach well above the current-gen threshold of $50, this offer almost seems too good to be true. But looking at the promotion details, it looks like you have to pre-order to 60 GB package to qualify for the free game.
This is great news for Australians. I'm just going to start praying that they bring this offer over to the US as well.
