While the 2006 winter games are still fresh in everyone's olympic memory, there are some who've already shifted attention to the 2008 event in Beijing. Lenovo, arguably most known for their ThinkPad brand notebooks, recently unveiled their special 2008 Olympics edition of the Lenovo F20 laptop.

The widescreen computer features a stylish red monitor with an elevated emblem of the olympic rings and a painted-on logo of Coca-Cola, who sponsors virtually every sporting event including the olympics. Full specifications are as follows:

* Intel M778 processor, 1.66GHz
* Intel 915GMS chipset with GMA900 display chip
* 12.1 inch wide screen monitor
* 512MB DDR2 memory
* 80GB hard disk
* External Combo drive
* WiFi, Bluetooh, 56K modem, and 100Mbps ethernet port
* Built-in 1.5W stereo speaker
* 3 USB ports, 1 IEEE1394 port
* All-in-one memory card reader
* Dual batteries for 8.5 hours usage
* Weight: 1.4KG

No release date has been set yet but I imagine it will be timed to coincide with the 2008 Olympics, so don't expect to see it in stores if you're headed to China this summer. The price is 13,499 Ren Min Bi (Chinese currency) or approximately $1,700.
