The solution of taking a gun to your head to get rid of pain has been around for a while, but this new "migraine zapper" gun-like device is a non-suicidal way to ease the agony of migraines. By placing it in the back of your head and clicking the "trigger", you send magnetic pulses through your head that reportedly prevent your migraine from spreading.
It's done with the technology of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), which targets a specific part of your brain -- in this case, the part that deals with migraines.
Though not yet granted FDA approval, the "migraine zapper" has seen positive real-world results in lessening the pain of migraines. I used to get migraines all the time so I know how painful they can be. I'm sure something so handy as this would be met with a great welcome by migraine sufferers.
