The nationwide launch of ESPN's wireless service was about 4 months ago, and it has yet to really pick up steam. Yesterday, ESPN re-invigorated their mobile service by showing off their new phone, the Samsung ACE.
It's a very thin, 3.5 oz phone with all the features you'd expect from a medium-end phone -- 1.3 MP camera, 30-second camcorder, and Bluetooth. There's also a button near the top of the phone that connects you directly to the ESPN Mobile services.
ESPN Mobile gives you access to things like breaking sports news, scores, stats, and proprietary fantasy team management. You also have ESPN video and radio highlights that you can watch or listen to on demand.
Plans go from $40 to $200, with additional features running from $3 to $25 per month. The Samsung ACE has a price tag of $99.
It's available for purchase now from ESPN.com and select retailers.
