Thomson introduced in France a couple of new music players: EH306, EM2600 and the elegant EM2802.

The Thomson EM2802 music player stands out with its thin metal housing. Equipped with either 1GB or 2GB memory and a 1.5 inch color OLED screen it competes with the Apple iPod nano players. Measurements of the EM2802 are 40.7x91x7.5mm. The Thomson EH306 has a minimalist design. The User interface only appears when switched on. A 6GB HDD is available for storing music on the EH306. It has a 1.5 inch color display and an FM Tuner. Measurements are 47 x 90 x 12mm.

The EM2600 is a standard mp3 player coming in 512MB or 1GB configurations.

The new Thomson mp3 players are expected to hit stores in October.
