Is it too early to start talking about CES 2007? Heck no! I'm already thinking about CES 2008. Anyway, the first big news from next year's show was just recently released. We now know the full list of people who will be delivering keynote addresses.

CES keynote veteran Bill Gates will, of course, be hosting the premiere pre-show conference, and even though it's before the actual start of CES it will essentially kick off the event. It'll be the ninth time Gates has had this honor, making him the most prolific CES keynote speaker ever.
Also highlighted is the CEO of Motorola, Ed Zander. He'll be giving the Monday-morning keynote right after CEA's CEO Gary Shapiro officially jumpstarts the show with his state of the industry address. Zander is the keynoter associated with the CES 40th anniversary, as Motorola was actually at the 1967 CES. The last of the big keynotes next year is just about as high profile as you can get: Rob Iger, the CEO of Disney.

The schedule is as follows:

Bill Gates: January 7, 6:30 PM
Gary Shapiro/Ed Zander: January 8, 8:30 AM
Robert Iger: January 8, 4:30 AM

CES 2007's official dates are January 8 - 11 in Las Vegas. It'll be a monumental show, as it's the 40th CES. Of course this brings up the question to everyone's mind: what kind of stuff did they show off in '67?
