Another FinePix Camera Churned Out By Fujifilm

This time we're talking about the S6500fd, a pretty stunning 6-megapixel camera. What sounds most interesting is what they're calling their "face detection" feature. It can actually detect up to 10 faces in a picture and will then optimize it so that the people become the main focus. I'm wondering if this option can be toggled on and off, because sometimes you want the scenery to be the main attraction.
Anyway, another cool thing is its rapid, ready-to-shoot specification. Instead of waiting seconds on end for the camera to start up, you turn it on and 0.8 seconds later, it's ready to take a picture, with an amazing 0.035 shutter lag. Wannabe paparazzi photographers, you'll definitely have to check this out.
A 2.5" LCD screen, ISO sensitivity, and VGA video recording round out the rest of the camera's noteworthy features. Of course, the expensive proprietary xD format is what you'll need to store pics and vids on here, but the great options make this Fuji camera actually worth paying the extra money for the memory cards.
