There's nothing official just yet, but word is spreading like wildfire that the ultra-famous E3 video game expo that's been held annually since 1995, is going to undergo some huge changes for 2007. The trade show, which lately has become known for its super extravagant booth displays, has been a vital part of the games industry since its inagural show.
Word on the rumor mill is that what's now known as E3 will transform into a hugely scaled down show that will consist ultimately of just a bunch of meeting rooms for a select few attendees, meaning that all those game journalism sites that recruit writers for no pay, with the prospect of going to E3, would have nothing to offer to entice new staffers.
Reportedly, the ESA, in charge of producing E3, will make an announcement early this week about the validity of this report and outline exactly what changes will be made for next year's event. Stay tuned for further details or enjoy for the last time the best E3 Booth Babe Photos.
