Loc8tor Offers New Way To Find Lost Objects

Call me absent-minded, but I'm always losing stuff, whether it's one of my five remote controls, a wireless game controller, or my keys. Actually, I just yesterday had to call to get a new debit card because I misplaced mine. Thankfully I'm not the only one like this.
At least, I must not be because someone went to the trouble to create the Loc8tor, designed to find any misplaced object as long as you had the foresight to tag it with one of the Loc8tor's wireless tags before it went AWOL.
The concept is not new. The Sharper Image released their famous Now You Can Find It device years ago. However, Loc8tor takes the technology a little further with the advent on an LCD screen. This allows for a better user GUI interface, and also allows for a new mode.
From Loc8tor's site: "In Alert mode an invisible safety zone can be set up around the Loc8tor (plus) alerting you with audio-visual and vibration alarms should tagged items move out of the set boundary." This could be great for items you'd be afraid would get thrown out in the trash. Just let it alert you if the item leaves the house. Or better yet, tag your kids at night.
I guess the British people are even worse than me, because that's the only place you'll find these right now. The full package runs for 99 pounds (about $185).
Update:
I4U reader Brad H. sent us a video (lots of darkness), where he tests Loc8tor to find his cat named Pixel in his garden at night. Usually it takes 5 hours to find Pixel, with Loc8ater Brad was able to find his black cat in 5 minutes.
