Japanese Kyosho will start selling a new improved version of their Manoi humanoid robot starting in September.
The Manoi AT01 will sell for 147,000 yen (~$1,283).
Kyosho calls the Manoi robot a 1/5 scale athlete humanoid.
The new Manoi has improved speed and movable angles. Powered by a 300mAh nickel hydrogen battery it has a longer time of operation compared to the Manoi PF01.
The Manoi robots are robot kits to build yourself. They are based on Kondo technology. More details on the Kyosho site (Japanese) and on Robot Watch (Japanese).
