Mobility Today got their hands on the Franklin Wireless USB EVDO Card.
The Franklin Wireless USB EVDO card is the first EVDO card that does not need a PCMCIA slot. Mobility Today tested the USB EVDO adapter on the Sony VAIO UX Micro PC.
Download speeds seem to be impressive for this compact EVDO card. The size of the card is 88×41×8mm and the weight is 21g.
The Franklin Wireless card is supposed to be available for the Sprint Power Vision Network later this month. OS support includes Windows 2000, Windows XP, Apple MAC and Linux.
More details on Mobility Today and in this press-release from Franklin.
