While everyone's still a bit disappointed that Nintendo didn't announce any launch details at the Leipzig Games Convention, the main guy there, from Nintendo of Germany, did essentially confirm a European price ceiling for the console, much like the "less than $250" commitment Nintendo of America made. He said that he "expects" the Wii to launch for less than 250 euros, which is roughly $330.

The German Nintendo guy, Bernd Fakesch, also said that the exact launch date has still not been finalized, but assured us that it will be appearing "in due time".
