Apple Employees Canned For Owning Illegal Software

Earlier this month, at Apple's Worldwide Development Conference, the Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard software was shown, and developers in attendance received a copy of the operating system. As is to be expected, the OS software has made its way to the Internet. Among some of the people to have illegally downloaded it are Apple retail store employees.
Employees matching that description apparently are not wanted in Apple stores, as many of them are getting fired for this reason. One case in point are five employees who were overheard talking about their ill gotten software while at work (nice going, Einsteins). Twelve more allegedly also face termination for the same thing.
"All of us know that we violated our NDA and ethics policy. Therefore, because we had the character to tell the truth and to face the consequences of our actions, we were terminated," said one of the bitter fired employees.
Apple OS X Leopard will be officially released in Spring of 2007.
