Another pair of affordable video glasses are coming. This time they are from VideoMagi and dubbed vMagi X1.
This lightweight video glasses feature 2 TFT LCD displays with 320x240px resolution. The glasses generate a 35 inch screen floating in front of you in 6.5 feet distance.
The integrated headset gives you stereo audio. The battery lasts 4 to 5 hours and the glasses can be charged via USB.
The package includes male and female AV cables, RCA cable and a USB cable.
The vMagi X1 ship in October and are currently available for pre-order at $249.99 (until September 15th).
More details on the VideoMagi site.
There is not much detail about the company available. Also the photos of the product lack detail. Maybe it is worth while waiting until the product is shipping. See also the Mikimoto Beans iTheater. For more high-end video glasses look at the Icuiti DV920.
