Sprint is introducing the nation's first EV-DO Revision A-capable PC card - the Novatel S720.
EV-DO Revision A will deliver faster upload and download speeds, but it is actually not here yet. It is supposed to be available later this year says Sprint.
With the new Novatel Merlin S720 you already get a PC card that will already be ready for the new network. The card is of course backward compatible and works with the current EV-DO rev. 0.
Sprint says that it plans to reach more than 200 million people in the U.S. with mobile broadband data services (both EV-DO Revisions 0 and A) in 220 major metropolitan areas by the end of 2006.
More details on the Sprint Power Vision site.
