Citroen will show the mean looking C-Métisse Diesel Hybrid Sports Car at the International Motor Show in Paris.

The Citroen C-Métisse sports car with the front wheels powered by a 205 hp diesel V6 engine, and the rear wheels are powered by two electric motors. The C-Metisse is said to get 42 mpg (if you need more MPG, check out the Loremo), but still gets you from 0-62 mph in 6.2s.

The design of the new diesel hybrid is hot. It is time for Citroen to lead again. My first car was a Citroen. Nothing beat back in the 80s the hydraulic suspension of Citroen cars. In the 90s Citroen lost the way. In recent years they are back with interesting designs, but nothing really unique besides their Rally World Cup (WRC) domination and the crazy Citroen Transformer Ads.
I wonder if Citroen is ever getting into the United States again. Only the Citroen SM was exported to the United States back in the 70s.
The international Motor Show in Paris (Mondial de l'Automobile) will take place from 30th of September to 15th of October.
