The new Pioneer 60 inch Plasma HDTV PDP-607HX features a resolution of 1365x768px and the new P.U.R.E. Black Panel.

Pioneer supports on this new Plasma TV 1080p HDTV input. The PDP-607HX down-scales the full HD signal resulting in better image quality. On the other hand Pioneer also offers the 50 inch Plasma Pro-FHD1 which has full HDTV resolution of 1920x1080p. Sure it is 10 inches smaller, but 60 inch could also already be too big for your living room.

Other features include 2 Tuner, Ethernet port, 13W speakers, 2 HDMI ports and i.Link.
The Pioneer PDP-607HX will sell for 800,000 yen (~$6,796) in late October in Japan.
Pioneer also introduced a new 42 inch dubbed PDP-427HXD.
