Paralleling the worldwide growth in the use of SD Memory Cards, the SD Association announced at COMDEX, November 18-22, in Las Vegas,
NV, the launch of the SD World Web site. The site, www.sdcard.com,
highlights the diverse range of SD-enabled products and applications available
globally and features invaluable information about the SD Memory Card, a
non-proprietary digital storage medium.

The SD Memory Card was jointly developed by Matsushita
Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (Panasonic), SanDisk and Toshiba. Its flexible
architecture and high memory capacity accommodate a wide variety of digital
data, from PowerPoint® presentations to music, video and JPEG images, for a
broad range of applications.
