SanDisk introduces the world’s highest capacity CompactFlash card for professional photographers. SanDisk is aiming these new 16 GB and 12 GB high capacity, high-performance cards at pro photographers who shoot RAW or high resolution JPG files.
SanDisk’s Extreme III compact Flash drives are also compatible with the Grass Valley Infinity Series Digital Media Camcorder. Both new cards have write speeds of 20 MB/sec and are due at retailers in December. In addition to being fast and having high storage capacity, the Extreme III cards are suitable in wide temperature ranges as well from minus 25C to plus 85C. SanDisk also introduced special card readers for the series to make the transfer of images from the card to the PC faster as well.
