Besides the new Slingbox AV, Sling Media also introduces the HD enabled Slingbox Pro.

The Slingbox Pro can control 1 HD AV component and up to 3 standard definition video devices. The Slingbox PRO is HD Component video compatible (up to 1080i) when used with the optional Slingbox HD Connect Cable. Why this cable is not in the package is strange.

You cannot connect the Slingbox Pro to the HDMI ports of your HD video devices. I guess because of HDCP copy protection stuff.
The Slingbox Pro can control over 5,000 devices. you can find out if your gear is among them here.

The MSRP for the Slingbox Pro is $250. I do not know yet what Sling Media is charging for the HD Cable. The Slingbox AV sells right now $154.99 on Amazon.com.
