Sony Ericsson announces a Bluetooth Wristwatch that displays caller id and more from your mobile phone.
The Sony Ericsson MBW-100 is actually made by Fossil. The analog watch with stainless steal casing has a small OLED display that shows incoming calls.
Pushing a button on the watch can decline the call. Other features include out-of-range warning, SMS indication and play, pause and skip control for the mobile phone music player.
Seiko was pioneering Bluetooth watches since years. Citizen introduced the Virt Bluetooth watch in Japan in June. Now Fossil and Sony Ericsson introduce a Bluetooth watch that has acceptable looks.
You can leverate all functionality of the MBW-100 with the Sony Ericsson K610, K610i, K618, K790, K800, V630, W710, W850, Z610, Z710 mobile phones.
The Sony Ericsson Bluetooth wristwatch MBW-100 will go on sale globally during Q4 of 2006 with a guideline retail price of approximately EUR 300 (~$380).
