Microsoft announced today the pricing of the Zune player. And guess what, it matches the latest Apple iPod pricing.
That is a good move by Microsoft and fair to all Microsoft fans, who anyway would have bought a Zune player.
The launch date for the Zune player is Nov. 14, 2006 in the United States.
Pre-order of the Zune Player started on Amazon.com.
A Zune Pass subscription gives you access to millions of songs for $14.99 per month. You can of course also buy individual songs, like on iTunes.
More details about the available Zune accessories and the pre-loaded content can be found in this press-release. See also this story on the Zune details MS released two weeks ago.
