UK based Playstation 3 magazine received (Via PS3 Land) a Sony PS3 review unit last Friday.

Update:
I just learned from my contacts that a Sony PR manager only demoed the PS3 to Playstation 3 Magazine and took the unit with them after the demo.

Sony is not shipping review units out to journalists yet.
PS3M's first impression of the PS3:
"The pads lighter than we anticipated and we were pleasantly surprised by the top-notch feel when controlling the vehicles with the pads motion rather than the sticks. We also got to grips with Resistance: Fall of Man too.
The jury's still out on this one but it looks amazing; like proper next-gen."
