Logitech is announcing today the newest keyboard in their diNovo line called the diNovo Edge. The Edge is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery pack. When it is in the charge base, the keyboard rests on its edge, which is where the name comes from.
The Edge is a mere ¾” thick and utilizes brushed aluminum and the perfect stroke key system. Connectivity for the keyboard is via Bluetooth wireless like many of the other diNovo peripherals.
You might note that while the majority of the diNovo products include a mouse, the Edge does not. Logitech is recommending that diNovo Edge buyers couple the Logitech VX Revolution or MX Revolution with the Edge for a complete wireless desktop. Other notable features of the keyboard are a touch sensitive sliding volume control, TouchDisc (for navigation without a mouse) and backlit hot keys. Logitech claims that the charging base charges the Edge for a full day of use in a mere 5 minutes and two hours gives you two months of use.
