Verizon Wireless customers that subscribe to the Get It now service can now access the Halo: Mobile Portal. From within the portal users can access XBOX Live gamertag statistics, send messages, get gameplay tips and receive weekly updates on limited edition content.

Users can also access special wallpapers with Halo images from the upcoming Halo 3 games in addition to special ring tones. SMS challenges will be supported to allow users to message buddies to set up games and chat. A Vault area contains hidden content that can only be accessed with codes found hidden in areas through the Halo game world. Gameplay tips will be available as well as the option to get TXT alerts notifying you of new Halo news directly on your handset.
