A rumor that Intel is about to takeover graphic chip company Nvidia is solid enough to send Nvidia's stock 10% higher.
Nvidia is about double as expensive compared to ATI. Intel would have to pay about $11 billion, whereas AMD 'only' paid about 5.4 billion for ATI.
Intel is in a tough battle with AMD. It is reasonable to think Intel would catch up and buy their own graphics chip company.
Wallstreet is still closed. Let’s see what happens today.
