These pics are purportedly of the upcoming LG Chocolate Platinum mobile phone. The new model is rumored to be a tri band design supporting 900/1800/1900 with GPRS and EDGE data. Internal memory is double that of the existing Chocolate at 256MB and the new phone has a 2 megapixel camera built in.

Rounding out the features is an FM tuner to go along with the MP3, AAC, AAC+, AAC++ and WAV format support. LG wrapped a microSD card slot into the new design for more memory capacity also. With all these features the phone still remains quite thin and small measuring in at 0.39” thick, which is right at half as thick as the existing Chocolate phone.
