Today Logitech is announcing a very unique and cool keyboard for notebook PCs that integrates a notebook riser as well. The product is called the Alto and utilizes a full-size keyboard with a soft palm rest.

Media controls are included on the keyboard as well as hot keys to provide quick access to frequently used controls and applications. Logitech also integrates three Hi-speed USB ports into the design as well. The keyboard is not a wireless design, but with the notebook sitting on the riser this is really no issue that I see, you simply plug in one USB cable and you are ready to work. When not in use the Alto folds down to enclose the keyboard and notebook riser inside a protective case to keep your keyboard safe and close at hand. The folded size of the Alto is a mere 9.33" x 16.84" by 1.41". The Alto works with all notebooks weighing up to nine pounds.
