Yes, 62 games does sound a lot. Nintendo counts in 30 classic games to get that high of a number.

By year end you will have 32 new titles to play on the Nintendo Wii. Games like The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Madden NFL ’07, Need for Speed: Carbon and Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam; category-redefining adventures like Red Steel, Elebits and Trauma Center: Second Opinion; and Hollywood favorites like Cars, SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab and Avatar: The Last Airbender.
In addition 30 classic games will be available. These include games for the NES, Super NES, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis and TurboGrafx16 consoles. You can redeem Wii Points in the Wii Shop Channel and download their games.

Good thing Nintendo did not count the 530 GameCube games that play on the Wii right away.
Nintendo Wii games are available for pre-order on Wal-mart.com for instance.
