I have seen some odd looking mice in my time, from vertical mice to take the strain off your wrist to round mice designed to be moved with the fingers alone. This system more resembles an air hockey puck than an ergonomic mouse to me.
Twelve switches are included around the mouse on the bezel of the mouse pad area. As you can see form the images, the mouse is located right below the keyboard when set up for what the manufacturer calls a central mouse position.
I think that it would drive me crazy to have to reach down to grab the mouse. I don’t see any movement savings between reaching from my keyboard to the right to grab my mouse and reaching from the keyboard to under the keyboard for the mouse. I’m not too sure about this thing and I agree with DailyCE, I wouldn’t consider buying something like this in the store. Buy your own ergonomic mouse here.
