Sony PS3 Firmware Update

Sony is already rolling out Sony PS3 firmware updates. Currently firmware 1.02 is the latest update for the lucky game magazine employees who have already Sony PS3 test units in their offices like IGN.
There is no official release documentation for these Playstation 3 firmware updates.
IGN reports that several Sony PS3 launch title will actually require a firmware update before they will be playable on your PS3.
Those games include titles like Madden NFL 07, Genji: Days of the Blade, Ridge Racer 7 and Resistance: Fall of Man.
Sony PS3 games are available from Amazon.com, Wal-mart.com or Gamestop. Just the PS3 consoles are nowhere to be found, besides on eBay. More Sony PS3 News.
