Apple announced today that Air France, Continental, Delta, Emirates, KLM and United will feature iPod connectors in their airplane seats starting 2007.
These six airlines will begin offering their passengers iPod seat connections which power and charge their iPods during flight and allow the video content on their iPods to be viewed on the their seat back displays. This way you do not need the iLuv i1055 7 inch iPod display we featured on the weekend.
Apple is working with Panasonic Avionics Corporation to bring more leading airlines in-flight iPod connectivity in the future.
More details in this Apple press-release.
