We reported about the rumored Samsung YP-K3 mp3 player a couple of weeks ago. It supposed to have the measurements and the looks of an Apple iPod nano.

Engadget has now published a hi-res photo of the YP-K3. There is definitely resemblance to the currently available Samsung YP-K5 in terms of the button arrangement.

There are still only vague specifications available.

To be successful the Samsung YP-K3 needs to be thinner than the iPod nano. With the YP-K5, Samsung brought something unique to the table. The slide-out speakers are cool and that is why the K5 is attractive. The K3 needs to have something unique to compete with the Apple iPods.
