Microsoft is giving away “free” stuff again. Truck on over to Powertogether.com and if you are lucky and the site isn't slammed with people trying to get “free” stuff you might get in.
The deal is that you can sign up and watch three videos centered around one of two products, Windows Vista Business and Microsoft Office 2007. After you register and watch the three videos, you are supposed to get a free full version of the appropriate product in 6-8 weeks.
The caveat is as always while supplies last. No word on what the supplies are could be 4 copies could be 4000 who knows. What I do suspect is that from the fact that the site has been mostly non-functional all day that the limited supplies will go fast and most geeks that watch the videos will end up with nothing more than some wasted time on their hands.
