Recently the guys at Everything USB reviewed the cousin to the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-950 Review I reviewed called the Pinnacle PCTV HD Pro USB TV Stick. Seems that the USB tuner worked well for them, but the software left the reviewer a bit wanting.
The Pinnacle device is a good option for those with powerful laptops looking to view some TV programming while on the go. The program guide drew some ire in the review but overall it seems to be a worthy investment in some cases. It has a much nicer antenna than my Hauppauge unit. Review excerpt: "The bundled antenna is also a treat, with a retracted height of about 8" and fully extending to about 26"; it's easy to point around and does a good job of picking up signals without too much hassle, even indoors." Buy your own Pinnacle USB tuner here.
