The JVC KD-S100 car stereo is equipped with the The Bongiovi Acoustics Digital Power Station.

The Bongiovi chip features a digital processing method that maximizes the frequency response of the speakers, the capability of the amplifier and the acoustic properties of your car's passenger compartment. Bongiovi acoustics optimized the sound processing for each car line.
The 200 watt JVC KD-S100 is only sold by car dealers direct (cost between $700 and $1,000 installed) not by electronic retail outlets.
The Digital Power Station is developed by veteran sound engineer Tony Bongiovi, who apparently is a 2nd cousin to Jon Bon Jovi. The JVC KD-S100 is the first product the chip is used, but it can also find its use in other audio equipment in the future.
