A Wall Street analyst is the source for new rumors what the new Apple iPhone might look like.
Two weeks ago, I summarized the hype about the iPhone. The new rumors are not really new, but of course they make their rounds on the net, because the info is from a Prudential analyst. Is Apple really talking to analysts about new products? I know other companies do it for sure; it is part of their strategy. But Apple is going a different route. They keep all under wraps as much as possible and then bang, we have a new cool Apple product.
In short the new rumors say the Apple iPhone will look like an iPod with a small screen and a click wheel - Big Surprise!
Other tid-bits are that the iPhones only support GSM/GPRS and WCDMA which leaves Cingular and T-Mobile as providers. There is supposedly also a Apple smartphone in the works for later 2007. The first iPhones are still expected for Q1 2007.
